Development minister meets with Cosco chairman, PPA management
Cosco Shipping Chairman of the Board Wan Min met with Development Minister Kostas Skrekas, the latter said on social media posts. The two discussed a strategic collaboration that would transform Greece into the leading transit hub in the Southeast Mediterranean through the port of Piraeus.
According to the posts, Skrekas met with Wan Min and the management of the Piraeus Port Authority. Referring to becoming a leading container transit hub, Skrekas said, "Piraeus, Greece's largest port, can play a key role in this direction through a strategic collaboration that brings multilevel investment benefits on the way to a robust and viable development."
