Provocative operation for de-Hellenization of the Isle Strongyli near Turkey
Revelations that will shock the Greek public about the way in which the government of Samaras - Venizelos understands the defense of our national interests against Turkey

It has been almost a year since the complaints of residents and soldiers in Strongyli for the "evacuation" of the island, which was ordered by the Foreign Minister, Evangelos Venizelos.
These complaints demanded answers from the government and relevant ministries, but they were... "drowned" deliberately, as many said, in a torrent of different news by the systemic Media.
Did we started an informal process of tacit ... surrender of Strongyli island to the Turks or we had already given it, by Greek government's agreements, which made sure to keep it a secret and when it became obvious, sought to blatantly ignore it until be forgotten?
Which is the Strongyli island, for which at that time had created a huge issue with leader Evangelos Venizelos, because of the known suggestion, to be characterized as archaeological site?
Why Mr. Evangelos Venizelos, arbitrary, entering into another ministry's jurisdictions, made this unexpected move?
Why the then Minister of Culture Mr. Panos Panagiotopoulos, stopped immediately the procedure of characterization of island Strongyli as archaeological site?
Fortunately, God has put his hand, as told many, who are aware of situations that have been created on Kastellorizo for the fate of Strongyli, the last years.
No one gave answers for the hot issue of the national integrity of our country and its islands.
Conversely, created confusion about what exactly is happening on the eastern part of Greek territory.
This very small island of the Dodecanese is very close to Kastellorizo. It belongs to the municipality of Megistis and geographical in the cluster of Megistis (kastellorizo), which consists of 14 islands, of which the three largest (Megisti, Ro and Strogyli) are inhabited and belong in the network «Natura», (which automatically implies limited and under terms of economic exploitation).
On the south side of Strongyli there is a lighthouse for seafarers. This point was the easternmost limit of the European Union, until the entry of Cyprus into this.
After the above, on the island there are no permanent residents, only a small excerpt of the Greek Army commandos and a lighthouse keeper.
The characterization of the island Strongyli as "archaeological site" seems to be completing, with full ... graying of the area and its delivery to the Turks with a different method.
As provided for by international law, Greece would not have EEZ in that point, since as an archaeological site the economic activity is prohibited. So, we automatically lost the right of EEZ proclamation. What are the interests behind this anti-Hellenic process?
This question that bothers the Greeks from September 2013 was never answered for the island Strogyli. Perhaps, because well-informed sources Newsbomb.gr said this is not true and that something else is behind all this. Why, since Strogyli was not converted into "archaeological site" in accordance with the wishes of Mr. Venizelos, has been lost the slightest Greek identity on the island?
Could it be that Strogyli is no longer Greek?
The Greek government retained in the island a unit of commandos (after was fiercely denounced for the intent on removing them), but has been careful to prohibit ... activities, visits, and residing on the island by the Greeks.
For the full confirmation of the above, Newsbomb.gr reveals an indisputable fact happened recently in Strogyli, for which should be ashamed all who have been involved in an embarrassing play for our national interests, especially for the patriotic feeling of the frontiersmen who live on Kastellorizo.
A fact which confirms that the island is in confused property and existing order.
Newsbomb.gr reveals the mandate given by the Greek Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos, not to spread the Greek flag on the island Strogyli, a great moment for the place, now that live on it, only a few commandos.
Which Greek patriot would be disturbed by a 150 square flag in a Greek island? A huge Greek flag spread out on Greek territory?
Did we escape the limits of reason?
We reveal a simple story that leads all Greeks to claim from the Greek Government an answer about whether Strogyli is still Greek or not.
What happens at the commandos' island and why is prohibited the obvious, i.e. Greeks to visit the island?
The chronicle of shame ...
For a long time the church of St. Nicholas was built with money of the Greek donors in Strogyli. Newsbomb.gr will soon bring in publicity the background and the story about the Greeks who offer to the nation revealing who they are. Greeks who gave money to build the church, offered the money to repair the boats of the army (which was absent in the region), who contributed financially to buy clothing in the army and flags for placement on the island.
They are proud Greeks who care by private initiative for the nation, our homeland and our borders, something that the state ought to have ensured...
When completed the works in the church of St. Nicholas, as usual should be done the Inauguration of the small temple, according to the rules of the Greek Orthodox tradition.
And for this reason, was scheduled to arrive in the island the Marine Minister, the Defense Minister, the general secretary of the Ministry of Defense, in order to attend along with the army and other people in the festive ceremony on the island Strogyli.
Indeed, as was to attend the metropolitan of Symi who is elder, had ordered special private helicopter (will not be paid from public funds but private) to take him to the island to be there at a very important moment for the easternmost Greece, which belongs to its Metropolis.
At the initiative of individuals, not public money, had ordered Greek flags for the day of the feast, in order to be spread to the island and stay there forever.
Indeed, well-informed sources said to Newsbomb.gr that the largest flag, which was ordered to be placed on the slope of the island, was 150 square meters and covered 10 by 15 meters of soil of Strongyli.
But it seems that an event for Greece and the Greek religion in Greek territory, opposite Turkey is not so simple ...
Suddenly all banned ...
Command from above, according to those who know, had prohibited the landing of the helicopter to the heliport, the installing of the Greek flag of 150 square meters and the visit of the Ministers of Defense and Mercantile Marine on the island.
"No ceremony, no minister and no resident will step on the island in the Inauguration of the church ...."
This was the mandate which was sent from Athens, which shocked those who were ready to attend and according to diplomatic sources, the command was given by Foreign Minister, Evangelos Venizelos, for reasons that only he can know and should explain to the Greek people...
In Castelorizo residents wept when banned the access to Strogyli in a blessed time for their land. When the vessels left to carry (after much negotiation) at least the chaplain and some soldiers, the Metropolitan of Symi, the engineer who built the church and some of the sponsors of this whole process, the lighthouse keeper's daughter burst into sobs as wished keen to be on the island for this moment.
The 70 commandos who are in Strogyli were the only ones who eventually attended the Inauguration. They sang, they carried the elderly bishop, they stood up to the task, and they were apparently disappointed when the Greek Foreign Minister, Mr. Evangelos Venizelos forbids them to spread the Greek flag on Greek territory.
Source in the Ministry of Defence, talked about the prevailing emotion on the island and said that those who attended the ceremony, did not hide their anger and shame, (by weeping the most of them) that could not stretch out the Greek flag on the side of the island.
At the time of the ceremony the soldiers, emotionally affected, they listened their General to state that he is proud of his commandos and speaking to them about dignity and Greek pride. That moment everyone felt supremely proud except those - of course - who prohibited to stretch the Greek flag on a Greek island located across Turkey.
"What are we ignoring of? Neither the Greek flag can be placed on the island?", asked one of the attended in the Inauguration and was one of the Greek sponsors that helped financially to the construction of the church and offered aid to the army.
So it was added another page of shame for the nation by the rulers of this country. A humiliating action that hurt the hearts of those who attended at a time when Turkey put showdown at the Aegean Sea and the coast of Cyprus, knowing -of course- it has to do with politicians in Greece who do not dare raise the Greek flag on Greek soil.
