“All institutions in Europe and US have university police. This is the simplest and most appropriate thing for Greece today. Private security companies, in cooperation with the Greek police, will monitor the premises, so as in case someone breaks the law or commits unlawful acts he or she will also face the law,” he said.

Regarding the sit-in protests at universities, he noted he is against such actions as no one has the right to block and close the universities.
