Venizelos meets with former PASOK leader George Papandreou

After the talks, Venizelos called the meeting "very friendly and positive" adding that they discussed international issues along with the developments in the economy and the negotiation with the troika of Greece's international lenders as well as PASOK party issues.

At a press query whether he had asked Papandreou to offer his support, Venizelos said that it is something he requests from everyone.

PASOK leader said that he was open to a new meeting and reminded that on Friday he is scheduled to meet with another former PASOK leader and prime minister Costas Simitis.
