Gunfire in a nightclub in Piraeus – More than 10 injured
The fun at a nightclub in Piraeus almost turned into a massacre.
An unknown offender at 4:15 in the morning entered in a nightclub in Mikrolimano and using a firearm, probably Kalashnikov, began shooting indiscriminately against the clients and employees of the store, injuring more than 10 people, of which three seriously.
According to eyewitnesses, the offender entered the nightclub shouting "you will all die."
The man opened fire and then, according to the Police, reportedly escaped by taxi. Followed moments of panic and the area was blocked by strong police forces, whose men have launched a manhunt to identify and capture the perpetrator.
From the brutal attack wounded 11 people in total, which were transported to "Evangelismos" and "Attikon" hospitals, where they are hospitalized. The health status of three of the wounded deemed serious.
So far, the motives of the perpetrator remain unknown, but according to reports he was a little earlier in the night club as a customer.
