Papamimikos says elections will be held in 2016
New Democracy party secretary Andreas Papamimikos expressed certainty that elections will be held in 2016 because the new president of the republic will be elected by the present parliament, noting that opinion polls show that the people do not want early elections.
Speaking on Saturday (22/11) in Thessaloniki before local party bodies, Papamimikos said that the government, implementing the prime minister's pledges, is already taking relief measures for the people.
