Athens Stock Exchange opening: Decline
Equity prices were dropping on Monday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 0.98 percent, standing at 985.34 points at 11:00 am, and turnover at 5.87 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 1.12 percent, and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 0.41 percent.
On individual sector indices, the only gains were in Banks (+0.22 percent).
The biggest losses were in Travel and Recreation (-1.40 percent), Personal and Household Goods (-1.37 percent) and Telecoms (-1.02 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 7 were up, 29 were down and 19 were unchanged.
