Complaint of Kammenos for bribery of MP
"Bomb" in the political landscape of the country, by the complaint of Panos Kammenos that before two to three months, an executive of ND approached an MP of his party in order to buy his vote to elect the President of the Republic.
This is the MP of AN.EL Stavroula Xoulidou which admitted publicly the controversial incident.
Mrs. Xoulidou in a television interview complained that "a blue executive proposed her an amount of money to vote for President of the Republic." She said that in a telephone conversation with the particular executive of the New Republic, he made her a proposal "with which could solve her economic problems for a lifetime."
As she said: "The specific executive said that the amount for these cases reach 2-3000000".
Earlier, Mr. Kammenos had said speaking at SBC, that "there is an MP in the Independent Greeks who she confessed that they offered her three million Euros, to vote for the other side and to leave the party."
"She told this in the Parliamentary Group; she told us that she resisted and said no. I freely admit that we tried to find a way to entrap the man that he offered the amount", said and added that the incident occurred 2-3 months ago.
Kammenos confirmed the complaints of Xoulidou
In a television interview the president of AN.EL. confirmed the complaints of Stavroula Xoulidou.
"Mrs. Xoulidou long ago had warned me, that there is one such offer," complained Mr. Kammenos revealing that advised her to accept, in order to trap the intermediary:
"I told her to accept the proposal so that we can substantiate the fact, namely that there are some people who offer money for defections from the side of Independent Greeks".
"Indeed we did all these actions to make an appointment at the office of Mrs. Xoulidou. The specific executive, postponed the appointment, twice. We certainly would have informed the Extortion Department of the police, to provide the evidence", said Panos Kammenos adding that "justice must intervene at once."
"I think that we can draw important results in terms of what has happened with the attack against the Independent Greeks, concerning the defections in order them to find the magic number of 180 Members who will vote the President of the Republic" noted the President of ANEL.
Melas threatens for lawsuits
Forcefully responded the MP of AN.EL. P. Melas in the revelations of Mrs. Xoulidou.
"These obscenities, these lies, these malignancies. So I say to Mrs. Xoulidou, to tell me the name in order to submit a lawsuit for him or I will submit a lawsuit for her", he said.
"Who is this man who said this malignancy for me? Who is he? "asked the MP of Independent Greeks Panagiotis Melas, on the statements of Members of Independent Greeks, Stavroula Xoulidou on attempted bribery by "Blue" MP.
"I cannot say, on air" replied Mrs. Xoulidou.
