Freighter with 700 migrants to arrive at Ierapetra
The Kiribati-flagged freighter "Baris" with approximately 700 undocumented migrants on board is expected to arrive at Ierapetra (Crete) port's anchorage on Thursday morning.
The vessel was located on Tuesday adrift due to engine failure 30 nautical miles southeast of Crete.
The undocumented migrants will be temporarily hosted at Ierapetra indoor sports hall.
