'Nothing happened' my dear Mr. Michelakis...

The House did not finally withdraw the immunity of John Michelakis and everything is OK.

Although the ethics committee of the House, by a vote of 5 in favor to 4 against, had proposed the withdrawal of the immunity of John Michelakis, the plenary voted by a majority against the waiver of immunity, with 96 "no", 86 "yes", 7 white and one "present."

The case concerned allegations of bribery of former minister by Anastasios Pallis who was detained for illegal weapons.

The following questions reasonably incurred:

-Is Mr. Mihelakis satisfied with the decision of the House? Does not he want a full investigation of the case? Does not he interest to prove in court that he is innocent, as he claims?

- Why the MPs who care so much about justice and the change of the law on ministerial responsibility, show selective sensitivities?
-How does the prime minister, who maintained excellent relations with John Michelakis, feel about this development?

Unless, the opinion of Antonis Samaras is the same with the opinion of Adonis Georgiadis who stated to Nikos Chatzinikolaou, the unbelievable: "The immunity of Mr. Michelakis should not been withdrawn because we would lose a much greater good. The unhindered right of an MP to make questions to the House".

In other words, the TV star - parliamentary spokesman of ND - tells us that there was no waiver of immunity in order the House not to lose the great questions of Michelakis.

... These are the people who govern Greece.
