Tsipras: Serious matter - Government: appalling show
The political confrontation between ND and SYRIZA, turned to high tones, in the wake of Chaikalis's allegations for an alleged bribery attempt.
After the revelations of the MP of AN.EL., that someone attempted to bribe him to vote for President of the Republic, Alexis Tsipras view that this is a very serious matter. Mr. Skourletis (in his public statements) stressed that when SYRIZA was reported recently, after some newspaper reports, to the bribe of MPs in order them to vote for President of the Republic, had been accused of "poisoning" the political life of the country, at a critical period for Greece.

Mr. Dimitris Papadimoulis, from SYRIZA, asked, - through his account on twitter -, from the justice, to directly investigate the allegations and urged Mr. Chaikalis to reveal the names!
"The complaint of Chaikalis requires immediate investigation by Justice and responsible information. No more evil "rumors". He must reveal the names", wrote Mr. Papadimoulis.
After the publication of the complaints, started a political turmoil, since the reaction of the New Democracy, added fuel to the fire. The government spokesperson, Sophia Voultepsis attempting to downplay the issue, said that this case is similar with the case of the MP Xoulidou, end aims to lead the country to early elections.
