Chaikalis: This is why I gave 5,000 euros to Apostolopoulos
Pavlos Haikalis had given 5,000 Euros to George Apostolopoulos, the alleged intermediary in bribery case
The Mp of ANEL Pavlos Haikalis, in the morning show of SKAI, Saturday, December 20, explained that he had given to Mr. Apostolopoulos 5,000 Euros, to invest it in foreign Stock Markets.
As Mr. Haikalis said, Mr. Apostolopoulos suggested to him to give him money, which he would invest, with the prospect of earning 10%.
Finally, Mr. Haikalis gave him 5,000 Euros and as said, in the first two months, he took 500 Euros per month from interest.
However, since then, as the MP argued, there was a delay in payments. Indeed, as mentioned, the Mr. Haikalis had taken a bank loan and the bank was pushing him to deposit the money. Finally, Mr. Apostolopoulos, as said the MP, gave him 800 Euros as part of capital.
In the same interview, Mr. Haikalis said "I do not blame Samaras. I do not blame anyone", and even called on the prime minister to use the same advocate in order to "sue this man".
