Kotzias also said that Athens can offer know-how on constitutional and state of law issues.

The foreign minister said that sanctions should help peace and diplomacy and not be "a tool of anger" in international politics, adding that problems should be resolved through negotiations and not by resorting to military solutions. "We support the sovereignty of Ukraine and the implementation of the Minsk Agreement," he said.

On his part, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin thanked Greece for its support to his country's territorial integrity and sovereignty and for the humanitarian aid offer.
