PM Tsipras' meeting with economic staff concluded
The promotion of the government work dominated among others the extraordinary meeting between Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and the economic staff at the Maximos Mansion.
According to sources, the first two draft laws to be tabled in parliament by the government are the settlement for overdue debt and the protection of primary residence against foreclosures.
A government council is likely to be convened on Friday or Saturday.
Government Vice-President Yiannis Dragasakis, Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis, Economy Minister George Stathakis, Productive Reconstruction Minister Panagiotis Lafazanis, Alternate Finance Minister Nadia Valavani and Alternate Minister for International Economic Relations Efklidis Tsakalotos participated in the meeting.
