Fin. ministry denies govt is mulling tax on stock exchange transactions
Greek finance ministry’s circles on Saturday categorically denied a news report on Greek daily Kathimerini, according to which the government is considering imposing a tax on stock exchange transactions and large bank deposits.
The report claimed these are two measures which are being discussed in negotiations with the country’s lenders.
