Athens Stock Exchange opening: Drop
Equity prices were falling on Monday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 1.80 percent, standing at 825.06 points at 10.55 am and turnover at 3.90 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 1.93 percent while the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 1.22 percent.
On individual sector indices, with the biggest gains in Technology (+0.13 percent). The biggest losses were in Banks (-4.72 percent), Construction (-2.51 percent), Oil (-2.49 percent) and Financials (-22.5 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 9 were up, 38 were down and 6 were unchanged.
