IMF: Translation of Lagarde's interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung is inaccurate
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said the translation of Christine Lagarde's interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung was inaccurate.
According to the German newspaper, the IMF head said that "Grexit is an option." However, according to the Italian media, the IMF's spokesman Jerry Rice denied it.
Moreover, Rice said that the statements that Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung attributed to Ms Lagarde "are not accurate, there are misinterpreted references."
The IMF spokesman also said that "there were problems with the translation of this interview."
