Caretaker government has first meeting, running up to September 20 elections
The newly sworn-in caretaker government on Friday held its first meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Vassiliki Thanou, following by the customary group photo.
Meanwhile, it was confirmed that President of the Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos has signed a presidential decree dissolving the current Parliament and setting September 20 as the date for the upcoming elections. The new Parliament will be convened on October 1.
