Ministers discuss next steps in investigation over Swiss accounts of Greeks

A joint ministerial meeting was held on Friday to discuss the plan to utilize the data of the bank accounts of Greek citizens in Switzerland and the immediate actions that must be followed.

Alternate Finance Minister Tryfon Alexiadis received a few days ago from German authorities of North Rhine-Westphalia a list of 10,588 bank accounts of Greeks which concern the years 2006, 2008.

According to a press release by the Justice ministry, the ministers attending, which included Alexiadis, Alternate Minister for Corruption Issues Dimitris Papangelopoulos, and the general secretary for the fighting corruption Giorgos Vasiliadis, also discussed the auditing procedure which will be followed by public prosecutors.
