Moderate quake jolts Crete; no injuries or damages reported
No damages or injuries have been reported from the moderate quake that shook the island of Crete on Wednesday (25/05/5016).
According to the Geodynamics Institute, the 5.5 Richter earthquake was recorded at 11:36 in the sea region 12km south-southeast of Zakros with depth 10 km.
The tremor was felt throughout the island.
