Preparations for TV licences tender on the final stretch
The preparations for the tender of TV licences are on the final stretch with the dress rehearsal taking place at the General Secretariat of Information and Communication on Monday (28/08/2016).
The building where the tender will take place on Tuesday will be thoroughly checked by the Greek Police and then it will be sealed. Only the participants in the tender will have access to the building, while journalists will be kept strictly outside the building.
Throughout the process the participants will remain in specific areas and they will be allowed to get out the room only accompanied. Also, the use of personal computers or wireless devices will be prohibited.
The government will grant four TV licences.
