Newborn baby found abandoned in lightwell
A two-day infant was found in the lightwell of an apartment building in the northern Greek city of Katerini.
The infant, a baby girl, was located late Monday by a resident.
Police said the identity of the baby's parents is still unknown.
The infant was transferred to the General Hospital of Katerini and later to Ippokratio Hospital of Thessaloniki.
Police are conducting an investigation.
