Man shot dead in central Athens; police looking for killer
A man was shot dead at the corner of Panormou and Vatopediou Streets in the area of Ambelokipi, at around 18:00 on Friday (21/10/2016), police sources said.
According to the sources, the victim, a gym owner, had a serious altercation with an older man, who is said to be a retired military officer. The latter then shot him and fled the scene. Police has now started a manhunt to arrest the killer.
