Power blackout on five Cyclades islands due to short circuit
Five islands of the Cyclades group -Paros, Naxos, Ios, Sikinos and Folegandros- were left without power on Wednesday due to a short-circuit in a transformer at the Paros autonomous power station.
The Public Power Corporation said that power station staff were working hard to repair the damage and restore power, which they said should return within a few hours.
