Investments are not only the privatisations, government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos on Tuesday said when asked to comment on ESM chief Klaus Regling's statements.
Regling said that he has been working very well with Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos but there are ministers who sometimes question specific privatisations.
Tzanakopoulos added that there are many investors waiting for the conclusion of the review in order to start a series of projects in energy, tourism and transport.
The government spokesman and State Minister sent the message that the Greek government is focused on the effort to compelete successfully the programme. When it is completed and the government has implemented its commitments based on the agreement of August 2015, such interventions on the part of the institutions are of no use, he said.
He stated that Regling must understand that we have democracy in Europe and stressed the importance of calmness and a stable climate.
