Traffic accidents causing fatalities or injuries down in May
Traffic accidents causing deaths and injuries throughout Greece dropped by 5.6 percent in May 2017 relative to the same month in 2016, the Greek Statistical authority ELSTAT reported on Monday.
The total number of such accidents in the month was 941 and resulted in 51 deaths (32.9 pct down relative to May 2016), 55 serious injuries (40.9 percent down relative to May 2016) and 1,086 lighter injuries (4.1 percent down).
