Frontex rescues 48 refugees near islet of Ro
A Frontex ship located and rescued on Tuesday 48 refugees onboard in a motorized inflatable dinghy, in the sea area near the islet of Ro, west of Kastellorizo, it was announced.
The refugees were transported to the port of Kastellorizo. Frontex is patrolling the area as part of the “Poseidon 2017” operation.
