No chance of layoffs in Thessaloniki's urban transport, says OASTh president
There will not be any layoffs at Thessaloniki's urban transport company (OASTh), its new president Stelios Pappas said on Friday, after a meeting with Alternate Environment and Energy Minister Sokratis Famellos.
“There’s no way any employee in OASTh will be dismissed,” Pappas said, adding that the new management views urban transport as a social commodity and its employees as social workers.
