Kotzias for Cyprus: Barbarism against international law will not be accepted

Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias sent a clear message on Friday about the Cyprus issue.

"Barbarism against international law, the principles of the UN and the rights of all Cypriots will not be accepted," he stressed.

Kotzias spoke at an event organised by the Federation of Cypriot Organisations of America and was awarded for his role in Greek diplomacy and his stance on the Cyprus issue.

Focusing on the recent efforts to solve the Cyprus issue at Crans Montana, he reiterated that Greece is opposed to the guarantees on Cyprus. "Democracy across Cyprus - and among Turkish Cypriots - will only work when the Turkish troops are removed," he underlined.
