Journalists' union ESHEA announces 24-hour strike on Tuesday
The Journalists Union of Athens dailies newspapers (ESHEA) will hold a 24-hour strike from Tuesday, 06.00 am to Wednesday, 06.00 pm.
The strike was declared due to a deadlock in negotiations with the government and employers for the salvation of the Athens journalists' health and supplementary pensions' fund EDOEAP. According to an ESHEA announcement, the union's board considers that "all margins for negotiation with the government and employers for the salvation of EDOEAP have been exhausted."
