Government should finally deal with people’s real problems, ND says

The government should deal with people’s real problems which itself caused instead of trying to divert attention with a draft bill on the cultivation of cannabis, New Democracy said in a press release on Friday.

The party criticized Alternate Agricultural Development Minister Yiannis Tsironis who proposed that the government allows the cultivation of cannabis for private use on the balcony, by paying a fee to the state.

“It is obvious that there is total confusion among government partners even over a minor bill, which again aims at diverting the attention of public opinion. The government must finally get its act together and deal with people’s real problems, which itself has caused, and of course cannot be resolved by the use of cannabis,” ND said.
