Freighter runs aground in the Gulf of Igoumenitsa
The Cook Islands-flagged freighter "Ali M" with a crew of 24 on Monday ran aground in seas within the Gulf of Igoumenitsa.
The ship had set sail from Sudan loaded with grain, bound for Ravenna in Italy. A coast guard vessel and a tug have now approached its location.
