Metro in Athens on a 24-hour strike

The strike has been organised by the SELMA union to protest against government plans to include STASY, the company that operates the metro, into the state's asset privatisation fund.

According to the union, the imminent privatisation of the company will cause chaos on Athens' urban transport.
