Local arrested for child abuse and incest

The case was reported to the authorities a few days ago, after the girl involved asked for help from a relative who went to the police. The girl said she had been raped and abused by her own father.

Police officers are handling the case very discreetly in order to protect the child, who was checked by a doctor and a psychiatrist.

An arrest warrant was issued and the victim's father was arrested and remanded in custody after his deposition to the prosecutor, facing charges of rape and incest.
