Light quake jolts Mytilene and Chios
A light quake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale shook at 07:13 on Monday (Christmas) the islands of Mytilene and Chios.
According to the Geodynamics Institute of Athens the quake's epicentre was located in the gulf of Izmir and its depth was 10 metres.
No damages have been reported on Chios or Mytilene.
