There are no grey zones in the Aegean, says Alt. Defence Min Vitsas

There are and can't be grey zones in the Aegean for us and for the international community, said Alternate Defence Minister Dimitris Vitsas in an interview with Realnews. "There is a series of international treaties on the territorial status of the Dodecanese since 1912 that were granted from Turkey to Italy" explained Vitsas.

He said that the warmongering cries do not frighten anyone and reassured that the Greek Armed Forces are ready to defend their country "with knowledge, sobriety and determination".

Vitsas said that he expects from the NATO, the US and EU to state their position on the issue "making clear that whatever move to expand the destabilisation zone will find them actively against it. The stability in the region is a matter that concerns them".
