PM Tsipras visits 135 Combat Group 'readiness' aircraft crews on Skyros
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Sunday visited the Hellenic Air Force's 135 Combat Group on the island of Skyros, where he ascertained that the crews and technicians of the 'readiness' aircraft stationed there are fully prepared to carry out their mission.
The 'readiness' aircraft are on round-the-clock standby to defend Greece's sovereign rights against any threats. He was accompanied by Defence Minister Panos Kammenos, while the head of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff Lieutenant General Christos Christodoulou was also present.
The prime minister spoke at length with the aircraft crews and technicians, as well as other personnel at the unit, congratulating them on their work and wishing them good strength in fulfilling their important mission.
