Seventeen Turkish nationals asking for political asylum arrive at Piraeus port
Seventeen Turkish nationals who were found on a beach at the Oinousses island in the East Aegean and have asked for political asylum arrived at Piraeus port early on Wednesday under extreme secrecy.
According to Coast Guard sources, they are Turkish nationals who came to Greece on a dingy and after being located on the beach were transferred to Chios' reception and identification centre.
According to Coast Guard's sources, there are 4 women and 6 children among them.
