Two tonnes of cannabis found on vessel south of Crete (Vid)
A foreign-flagged vessel intercepted by the Greek coast guard on Saturday was carrying two tonnes of cannabis.
According to sources, the vessel was caught about 40 nautical miles south of Crete, near Ierapetra, and had already been under surveillance. The tug-boat departed from Cyprus with final destination a Spanish port.
An investigation is curently underway.
