Riots reported at Moria refugee and migrant camp
Riots have broken out at the Reception and Identification Centre for refugees and migrants in Moria, Mytilene at on Wednesday evening.
According to reports from the island, residents are protesting over their prolonged detainment in the Aegean island hotspot.
A strong police force has responded to the incident, using flash-bang grenades in order to restore order. The fire brigade was also called in at about 19:30 to put out fires that have started inside the facility.
