«Today is a very important day for all the citizens of the country», Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said on Wednesday on the occasion of signing the memorandum of collaboration between the Greek state and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
«On behalf of the Greek people, I want to thank the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and (Niarchos president) Andreas Drakopoulos for this offer, which may total 250 million euros», said Tsipras.
On his part, Drakopoulos underlined that SNF has achieved excellent cooperation in a climate of transparency and common vision between the public and private sectors, and said the donation to the health sector will have a positive outcome through despite the difficulties. The NSF's hard work, he said, will continue to contribute to a better tomorrow.
