PPC workers to hold 48-hour strikes starting on Monday
The Public Power Corporation employees' union (GENOP) will hold repeated 48-hour strikes starting on Monday.
A three-hour work stoppage has also been declared for Friday from 07:00 to 10:00 and a protest rally at the PPC's headquarters in central Athens.
GENOP is protesting against the sale of lignite coal-powered plants in Florina and Megalopoli, envisioned in a draft bill tabled on Wednesday in parliament.
