Parliament to decide on Novartis case ruling by secret ballot

The parliament plenum will decide on Friday by secret ballot on the ruling regarding the Novartis case.

The parliament will decide whether to prosecute former Prime Ministers Antonis Samaras and Panagiotis Pikrammenos and former ministers Dimitris Avramopoulos, Andreas Loverdos, Andreas Lykourentzos, Marios Salmas, Spyridon-Adonis Georgiadis, Yannis Stournaras, Evangelos Venizelos, Georgios Koutroumanis for the offense of bribing political officers, passive bribery and money laundering.

The debate started at 10:00. Once it is complete, there will be vote on the committee's proposal by secret ballot and then a separate vote on whether to prosecute for each alleged act or omission.
