PPC to invest 180 million euros on wind power projects
Public Power Corporation (PPC) on Wednesday announced plans to invest 180 million euros on new windpower park projects, with a total capacity of 150 MW, reports ANA-MPA.
The plan, approved by PPC's board, will be funded with bank loans (60 percent) and own capital (40 percent) by PPC Renewables (to be covered by a capital injection by the parent company).
The board also approved an investment to build a windpower park in Crete, with a capacity of 7.5 MW, worth 9.0 million euros, with the option to add another windpower turbine with a capacity of 3.3 MW, worth 3.96 million euros.
PPC said it will soon launch an international tender for the project.
