Zakynthos: They hit with a bat and shot an Australian tourist
Ongoing investigations of the police are in place to identify and arrest three perpetrators of attempted homicide of a 36 year old Australian citizen, which happened in the early hours of Monday in Laganas of Zakynthos.
Specifically, as a result of the investigation, three people having covered the features of their faces immobilized the 36 year old Australian national and beat him with a bat, before one of them shot him once in the right leg with a gun.
From the so far use of data as part of police investigation into the Department of Security of Zakynthos, two individuals are involved in this case.
A 42 year old Bulgarian, who was identified and arrested yesterday evening and a 47 year old domestic who is sought and against which was formed a file of felony offenses of extortion, inciting the attempted homicide and serious injury.
The victim was transferred to the Zakynthos hospital.
The 42 year old Bulgarian citizen arrested will be brought to the Prosecutor of Zakynthos, while police investigations are ongoing to identify others involved in the case.
