Gaza: Irrationality in all its glory

Gaza: Irrationality in all its glory

Since the reactions to the attacks of the Israeli army in UN schools are limited to a mere protest, the recital of hypocrisy could only continue.

"We need another week to complete the military operation of destruction of tunnels used by Hamas", said the army in Netanyahu government and the tasteless joke travelled around the world. If for the sake of destroying the tunnel, sacrificed 96 souls in about half a day and many of them died after a cowardly attack on a refugee shelter.

How absurd is the attitude of Israel, is demonstrated by the words of Pierre Kreenmpil, head of the United Nations for Palestine Refugees."The night before, children were killed while they were sleeping alongside their parents on the floor of a classroom in a shelter in Gaza that has been designated as such. It is an insult to every one of us, a cause for international embarrassment. In the shelter stayed the people from whom the IDF had asked to leave their homes.

The specific location of the school and the fact that in there were located already thousands of displaced, is information given 17 times to the Israeli army, in order to ensure their safety; the last time was at 22:00, Tuesday night, just a few hours before the bombing of that school."

Outcry from celebrities
Multiply the reactions of artists and celebrities who are trying to awaken the UN and to force him to take more drastic measures to put an end to the delirium of Netanyahu.
Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz have signed an open letter published in a variety of Spanish Media, stressing the need to put an end to the "genocide", as described the massacre which is taking place in Gaza.

Intense, was the reaction of the famous British comedian Russell Brand, for the claim of the TV presenter Sheen Chaniti -in a broadcast of FOX network- about suspicious support to the Palestinians. "While the whole world longs for peace, the Chaniti hungers for intensity" was one of the mildest comments of Brad.

Thirty Israeli tourists evacuated from hotel in the Maldives
An episode that came close to turn into a major issue, took place at a hotel in the Maldives. It all started when an Israeli tourist tore a poster, which hosted his country's flag and a swastika. The reaction of the rest of the hotel guests, but also from citizens, forced the hotel manager to remove the 30 Israelis (mostly surfers), to avoid the worst. "The Israelis should know that they are not forbidden to come to the archipelago, but should also have in mind that we stand clearly on the side of the Palestinians."
