Gaza Strip: Hamas denies holding Israeli soldier; Death toll rises

At least 107 Palestinians were killed yesterday during Israeli army's operations and after an Israeli soldier disappeared, allegedly captivated by Hamas.

Hadar Goldin disappeared as Israeli forces tried to destroy a militant tunnel. His supposed capture ended a 72-hour ceasefire just hours after it had begun.

However, Hamas denies holding the 23-year-old Israeli soldier.

Attacks took place during the night. Death toll was published today by Palestinians aid services

As reported at least 35 Palestinians were killed in Rafah, among which 15 people from the same family, five of them children between 3 and 12 years old.

Since July 8, that operations of Israeli army began, at least 1,640 Palestinians have been killed.

On Israeli side, 63 soldiers and 3 citizens have died during operations.
