Ferguson, Mo: Endless violence; One dead in police-involved incident

Violence in Ferguson, Missouri culminates. One more night of tear gas and arrests; One more man shot by police.

One person is dead following an officer-involved shooting in an area in north St. Louis located about four miles from Ferguson, Missouri. The man was allegedly armed with knife.

Sent Louis police Superintendent, Sam Dotson, has claimed on his Twitter account that police officers killed this man because they felt threatened.

In specific, they received a call about an upset man, who was holding a knife and was shouting "kill me now" while approaching a police car.

"Police officers warned him several times. The officers feared for their safety and two police officers have used their weapons. The suspect died" said Sam Dotson on Twitter.

Some people gathered around the shooting site and they were repeating Ferguson most popular slogan "Hands up; Don't shoot"

African-American community seems determined to go on with fight against police violence, desptite National Guard's presence. On day 11thof the riots several racial issues are raised in the 'land of freedom'
