Tourist rescues sea turtles destined for meat traders
A couple of Loggerhead sea turtles, which were destined for the meat traders, have been rescued and returned to sea after being discovered laying on their backs and suffocating.
The 44-year-old British tourist had immediately tried to cover the turtles in water but was pulled away by an angry woman who claimed they were hers.\
The woman who claimed the turtles were hers was believed to have been preparing to sell them on the black market once they had died.
