They “represent” Doctors without Borders and get money
Two people are running through villages and target seniors, considering them... easy prey!
The two women, described with dark skin but not Roma, are aged about 30 years old, went to Anoghia on Thursday and knocked on the door of an old woman. They introduced themselves as representatives of Médecins Sans Frontières, persuading the woman to open the door and to welcome them. They were able to earn the trust of the woman sitting comfortably in her house. They chatted, drank refreshing water and while leaving they took 40 euros after extracting information about her personal data but and the method of collecting the pension.
They had, indeed, the audacity of offering 400 euros, which they would supposedly bring with the mailman, as they promised the elderly, who believed them, before giving her money. The two women didn't stop there! Then they visited her elderly cousin for more money, as they managed to get 20 gold coins! The incident was reported to the police, which seeks the impostors.
